The story
London · 2002
Douglas Ankrah, the bartender behind Soho’s famous LAB bar, created it at the Townhouse, his cocktail bar in Knightsbridge.
The serve
Vanilla vodka and passion fruit shaken with lime, half a passion fruit floating on top and a small glass of bubbly on the side.
A British favourite
By 2018 it was the most-ordered cocktail in bars, pubs and restaurants across the UK. Ankrah passed away in 2021; his drink is everywhere.
Ours keeps the passion fruit, the vanilla and the squeeze of lime — and puts the bubbles right in the can.
