Privacy notice

Sourly is a ready-to-drink cocktail brand launching in the New York metro area in 2027. This notice explains what we collect on sourlycocktails.com, why, and the choices you have. In short: we only collect what you choose to give us, we use it to keep you posted about Sourly, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- Waitlist sign-up: your first name, email address and ZIP code; optionally, your favorite Sourly cocktail and whether you buy for a bar, restaurant or store. You also confirm that you are 21 or older and agree to receive launch updates.
- Next-cocktail survey: your first name, your votes and ideas, and, if you choose to give it, your email address.
- Remembered on your device: after you pass the age check (and, during our private preview, the password), your browser remembers that for 30 days so you don’t have to repeat it. This is stored only in your browser. We store that you passed and when — not your date of birth.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites. When you load a page, Cloudflare receives basic technical information such as the page you viewed, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and your approximate country. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
How we use it
- To send you Sourly news, launch updates, early access and tasting invitations.
- To understand which cocktails people want and where we should launch first.
- To contact bars, restaurants and stores that tell us they are interested.
Who else sees it
Our website and its forms are hosted by Netlify, which stores form submissions on our behalf. If we use an email service to send updates, it will process your email address for that purpose only. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.
Links to Instagram, X and Facebook take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete the information you gave us by writing to privacy@sourlycocktails.com.
- Clear what your browser remembers by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings; you will simply be asked the age question again.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist and survey information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for the purposes above.
21+ only
Sourly is for adults of legal drinking age. This site is not intended for anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe someone under 21 has given us information, email privacy@sourlycocktails.com and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this notice as Sourly gets closer to launch. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
